As many of you have experienced today and this weekend, I celebrated with my family Passover and Easter. Wow, blended families create many opportunities for growth.

Both holidays provide an opportunity for renewal of energy, planning and hope. The retelling of stories provides the best chance to share with children lessons of struggle, perseverance, motivation and conviction.

How can these lessons translate to business? There are small signs that the economy is tilting toward a turn around. This is the best time to practice top down and bottom up communication and leadership. No matter what your position at work might be, request departmental meetings throughout the organization.
